'American Idol' Season 10 recap: Just not the same without Simon Cowell | NJ.com
Maybe I'm too much of a traditionalist. Or maybe I'm just a typical fan of one of the most popular TV shows in the nation. It's only one day into Season 10 of “American Idol” and I'm already missing Simon Cowell. His snarky British accent. His brutally honest critiques. His occasional sparring with the other judges.
And I’m already a little bored with Jennifer Lopez. She looks great, but she’s too much of a softie. She’s trying too hard to replicate the overly sympathetic, motherly ways of Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi. She needs to toughen up."

Foreclosure means not leaving home for 673 days
And if you think that's a long time, get this: it takes about 673 days before the house is sold and the homeowner kicked out, according to data compiled by LPS Applied Analytics, which provides technology and data to the mortgage industry.
That puts the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area near the top of the list for states that are slow to initiate foreclose. The Bay area is behind Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and California.
It's no secret that Florida is no where near emerging from the real estate downturn. But data like this show just how clogged local courts are. The data also bring up some thorny issues for economists and industry onlookers who say the market won't recover until a bulk of the distressed homes are sold."

The Durango Herald 01/19/2011 | State bill extends foreclosure program
“I cannot even tell you how many people put their head in the sand and don’t even open their mail,” Chapman said. “They know they’re in trouble. They panic.”
Homeowners who work with housing counselors to modify their loans have a much greater chance of remaining in their houses.
The foreclosure-delay program allows public trustees like Chapman to delay a foreclosure sale for three months."

TriValley Central > Eloy Enterprise > Top Stories > AZ Department of Housing launches foreclosure assistance program, Save My Home Arizona
President Obama announced on Feb. 19 that the U.S. Department of Treasury would be financing $1.5 billion in foreclosure mitigation to those states hardest hit by the housing crisis, with Arizona receiving $125.1 million of those funds.
One of Arizona’s earliest concerns about the award was the sheer number of Arizonans facing foreclosure and the realization that the Treasury award, while a significant amount of money, could do little to stabilize a problem of overwhelming magnitude.
“With a foreclosure rate that is currently second in the nation, it was pretty clear from the beginning that the $125.1 million allocation coming to Arizona could not be impactful with respect to the sheer number of households needing assistance. At best, these funds will assist just over 4,000 households or around 11,000 individuals to remain in their homes,” commented ADOH Director Michael Trailor."

Salon Luxe

I have a firm view that all exceptional Businesses should be rewarded. The good customer service stands out and the best SHINE like the sun. With the ecoomic crunch many retailer cannot afford to give the service you normally would expect. How refreshing to have people do more than expected in these times of cutbacks.
Last week I went to Salon Luxe. Yes, its that time of year again, PROM. Some like to call it the tota,l major, overhaul season. I called around and all my normal people were busy. I called Molina's Bridal shop and was reffered to Salan Luxe. With much trepidition I drove the 15 miles for a hair consultation for my daughter. I reassured her that if it wsan't great we would turn around and walk out. I was AMAZED. Salon Luxe was nice, clean and relaxing with an upscale feel. There were plenty of magazines to choose from and a WARM WELCOME. The decor was nice and I felt really good about the "feel" of the salon.
The owner really believes in contributing to the community. Sponsering the YMCA and assisting the women's shelter. She is even doing makeovers for women in the community are are returning to the job force. Count me in!

The stylist TU was great. Check out the before and after pics. She was not overbearing and knew exactly what was needed to be done. She had a calming way about her that put my daughter at ease.
While my daughters hair was being highlighted, I chatted with the owner. She took time to sask questions and hooked me up with people that could help me with mynew business venture. Since they sometimes offer makeovers for women getting back into the work force.
Here are the Before and After pictures of my daughter via cell phone camera. If you want to have GREAT SERVICE with hair stylists that are KNOWLEDGEABLE, then you will love Salon Luxe in Avondale 623 925 9485. They are across the street from Molina's Bridal another awesome business. Give Salon Luxe a call and tell them I sent you!
